Are your spices one big hot mess? With the help of mason jars & DIY spice jar labels you can change that. Check out this easy DIY spice jar storage solution, including a free download!
When I started cleaning and reorganizing my pantry (reveal here!), I knew my DIY spice jar storage needed updating. Years ago I created a DIY spice jar storage system using IKEA jars and my label maker, but the jars have since been discontinued and my spice drawer has turned into one big hot mess. Some spices were in the jars. Some were in bags. Some were in their original containers. It was time for a new system!
I needed the new DIY spice jar storage system to havelarger jars, as well as jars that were easy to find for years to come. Enter the Mason Jar. They were the right size and they’ve been around for years so hopefully they’ll be easy to find for years to come. And, as an added bonus, I had a lot in storage from my canning days which came in handy since this project was completed during a pandemic.
Here’s what you need to know to create your very own DIY spice jar storage system!
